  • Ecology and epidemiology of ticks and tick borne pathogens
  • The role of reptiles in transmission of vector borne microorganisms (Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Anaplasma, Rickettsia, Bartonella) and unicellular parasites (Karyolysus, Hepatozoon, Schellackia)
  • Molecular diversity of emerging parasitic and infectious diseases agents in the light of global changes
  • Behaviour of ticks and host preference in laboratory conditions and parasite induced alteration in behaviour
