The Editorial Office withdraws manuscripts in cases of plagiarism or multiple submission. Withdrawal after acceptance is not permitted. Withdrawing a manuscript after it has been accepted by another journal breaches publication ethics, as it wastes the time reviewers give voluntarily. If peer review takes longer than six months and the authors have not been kept informed of the reasons for the delay, they may withdraw the manuscript free of charge.<\/p>
At an advanced stage (after peer review is completed, after revision requests have been sent, or during production), the Editorial Office sends the corresponding author an Article Withdrawal Request Form<\/a>, to be returned signed with a clear reason for the withdrawal. Unless there are compelling and unavoidable reasons, the withdrawal is completed only after payment of a one-time fee of 130 EUR, which covers the costs of the Editorial Manager system and editorial work. A withdrawal is complete only when the Editorial Office confirms it. <!--The full policy is available at <a href=\"https:\/\/pau.saske.sk\/helm\/jwp\/\" rel=\"noopener\"
