  • comparative cytogenetics and karyotype evolution in helminths
  • detailed karyotype analyses of various species or populations using classical karyotype cytogenetics (chromosome number, banding patterns, karyotype asymmetry, secondary constrictions) as well as advanced cytogenetic techniques allowing location of genes on chromosomes by fluorescence in situ hybridization
